Kalshorf Wind Farm

The 15MW Kalshorf Wind Project located in Germany became operational in 2005. The project is located in Lower Saxony, Germany. Project construction started during the first quarter of 2016 and was completed in December. The project consists of 30 3.3-MW and 63 2.2-MW wind turbines. 

The Project created approximately 200 jobs throughout the construction period, which resulted in millions of dollars in local spending. The project generated and supports full-time, high-paying operations and maintenance jobs.

Currently, the site had undertook a wide range of environmental assessments which includes landscape and visual, heritage and archaeology, ecology and more.
