Cube Green Energy is committed to fostering sustainable practices, ethical conduct, and respect for human rights throughout its supply chain.
This Supplier Code of Conduct outlines the principles and expectations we have for all our suppliers and service providers. By adhering to this Code, suppliers and service providers contribute to our shared goal of creating a sustainable and responsible renewable energy industry.
Compliance with Laws and Regulations
Suppliers and service providers must comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws, regulations, and industry standards, including but not limited to:

Labor and employment laws.

Health and safety standards.

Anti-corruption and anti-bribery laws.
Environmental Stewardship
Suppliers and service providers are expected to minimise their environmental impact and adopt practices that support sustainable development. This includes:

Reducing greenhouse gas emissions

Managing waste responsibly and promoting recycling.

Using resources, such as water and energy, efficiently.
-
Avoiding the use of hazardous materials and chemicals where possible.

Aligning operations with the principles of a circular economy.
Human Rights and Labour Practices
Suppliers and service providers must respect and uphold the rights of their workers, adhering to the following principles:

Take steps to ensure there is no use of forced or compulsory labour, human trafficking, child labour, slavery or servitude in connection with your business activities.

Providing wages and benefits that meet or exceed legal requirements and ensuring working hours align with applicable laws.

Providing equal opportunities and not engaging in discrimination based on race, gender, religion or other protected categories.

Respecting employees’ rights to freely associate and collectively bargain.
Health and Safety
Suppliers and service providers must ensure a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, including:

Implementing safety protocols and providing necessary personal protective equipment (PPE).

Conducting regular health and safety training.
-
Identifying and mitigating workplace hazards.
-
Preparing for emergencies with clear plans and communication.
-
Encouraging their employees, agents and contractors to report any accident, injury, illness, or unsafe condition immediately, and stop work that could be unsafe, so that appropriate action can be taken.
Bribery, Corruption, and Financial Crimes
Suppliers and service providers must promote transparency and accountability in the conduct and administration of business, including having in place effective processes and procedures to identify any breaches and proactively prevent:

The offering, giving, or accepting of bribes or other corrupt practices.

Inappropriate provision of gifts, entertainment, or hospitality to CGE personnel or third parties representing CGE.

Money laundering, including the act of hiding illegal funds (especially those with possible links to terrorism or criminal activity) or giving such funds apparent legitimacy.

Terrorist financing, which involves providing money or other property to groups with the intention, knowledge or suspicion that those groups will use that money for terrorist purposes.

Tax evasion, which includes deliberately or dishonestly cheating the public revenue or unlawfully evading tax.
Conflict of Interest & Business Integrity
Suppliers and service providers are expected to conduct business with integrity and transparency, adhering to the following:

Disclose any actual or apparent conflicts of interest between personal and business interests, including using CGE information and resources for improper gains.

Maintaining accurate and transparent records of business activities.
Product Quality and Innovation

Suppliers and service providers are expected to deliver products and services that meet high standards of quality, reliability, and sustainability.

Collaborate on innovations that enhance renewable energy efficiency and minimise environmental impact.

Ensure compliance with technical and safety standards for all products delivered.
Anti-Competitive Conduct
Suppliers and service providers must promote and ensure the prevention of anti-competitive conduct. This includes refraining from any form of agreement, understanding, or exchange of competitively sensitive information with competitors to fix prices, rig bids, allocate customers, or restrict supply.
Community Engagement and Social Responsibility
Suppliers and service providers should contribute positively to the communities where they operate, including:

Supporting local economies through fair labour practices.

Engaging in community development initiatives.

Respecting the rights and cultures of indigenous and local populations.
Monitoring and Compliance
Suppliers and service providers must:

Permit audits and inspections to ensure compliance with this Code of Conduct.

Provide documentation upon reasonable request to demonstrate adherence to these principles.

Address and rectify any non-compliance issues in a timely manner.
Reporting Concerns
Cube Green Energy promotes and encourages you, your employees and or your agents or contractors to report any concerns or violations of this Code to our Senior Management on info@cubegreenenergy.com. Reports can be made confidentially and without fear of retaliation.
When you raise concerns about misconduct, we will listen, take your concerns seriously, and address them appropriately. This may include conducting an investigation or taking other relevant business action. We do not tolerate retaliation against those who speak up in good faith or cooperate in an investigation.
