Brian Knowles
Brian is an energy industry veteran with over 15 years of experience in utility scale renewables and energy storage markets leading innovative transactions in both the United States and Europe.
His role at Cube Green Energy encompasses all aspects of Energy Storage and Offtakes including auction strategy, PPA structuring and other routes to market as well as offtaker relationships and offtake procurement.
In his former roles, Brian developed and structured the first hybrid solar-plus-storage projects and PPAs in the United States and the first hybrid PPA in the United Kingdom for a solar-plus-storage project.
Brian’s early career was as a former Submarine Officer and Naval Nuclear Engineer in the United States Navy and he holds a degree in Engineering-Physics from the University of Arizona and an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business.
