Sharad Jain
Sharad Jain is a prolific energy investor with 25+ years’ experience in energy infrastructure projects during which period he has closed financings of over ~$20B for more than 15GW of power capacity.
During his time at Cube Green Energy, Sharad has been instrumental in spearheading M&A activities including the inorganic growth of the company’s operating and development pipeline and has a stellar reputation as one of the foremost dealmakers in the European power sector. He has considerable experience in closing and managing investments across a range of technologies in the energy sector, and is skilled in structuring and managing large complex transactions and is recognised as an innovator in his field.
Sharad is also the commercial head of our extensive procurement activities covering our onshore wind, PV and BESS businesses.
Prior to his time at Cube Green Energy, Sharad led EMEA deal execution team for General Electric (GE) in London following 8 years with GE in India where he established the Indian subcontinent investment business and built and successfully exited a portfolio of ~$400M investments across various renewable platforms.
Sharad is a gold medallist in MBA (Finance) from IMT Ghaziabad and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from National Institute of Technology, Surat (India).
