France | September 2026 - We are pleased to announce another important milestone for our French development portfolio: three of our wind repowering projects have recently received the necessary administrative approvals. The decisions have now been officially published by the French authorities, allowing all three projects to progress to the next phase of development.

These approvals follow extensive development processes involving close collaboration with local councils, regional authorities, landowners and other stakeholders, alongside continued engagement with local communities throughout the permitting process.

One of the projects, located in the Cantal department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, has been operational since 2009, with an installed capacity of 6 MW. Following repowering, its capacity is expected to increase to approximately 12.5 MW. A second project, located near Fruges in the Pas-de-Calais department of the Hauts-de-France region, currently has an installed capacity of 8 MW, which is expected to increase to approximately 17 MW following repowering.

The third project is located in the Meuse department in the Grand Est region. Commissioned in 2008, the wind farm comprises five turbines with a total installed capacity of 10 MW. Repowering is expected to increase its capacity to nearly 21 MW.

Together, the three projects are expected to increase their combined installed capacity from 24 MW to approximately 50 MW. This will significantly enhance renewable energy generation while making efficient use of existing infrastructure and grid connections.

These approvals mark an important step towards construction and reinforce our commitment to unlocking additional clean energy capacity through smart and efficient repowering.

We would like to thank our development teams, local authorities, municipal partners, landowners and everyone involved for their collaboration and commitment in bringing these projects to this important stage.
